Mongolian rally 2008

The Chaps have left to go to Mongolia!!!

Welcome to our website, where you will find everything you need to know about our team, Chaps to Mongollia. We will be taking part in the Mongol Rally 2008 and leaving Hyde Park in London on the 19th July 2008 for roughly 1 month of driving. This is will be an epic journey of about 10,000 miles which will see the chaps encountering dirt tracks, deserts, rivers without bridges, lengthy border controls and probably numerous breakdowns. We hope this incredible and potentially dangerous rally will allow us to experience parts of the world where life is very different. Inevitably it will broaden our horizons.

The Mongol Rally is not just about going off the beaten track and having a fantastic experience, it's very much about raising stack loads of cash for charity so we can help those we will meet along our journey to Mongolia. Last year the teams raised over £200,000 for charity and this year we hope to thrash this amount. The Chaps to Mongolia team hopes to raise at least £1500 in donations for MercyCorps, Hope & Homes for Children and Sworde Teppa (our nominated charities). Please see our charity page for more information on these individual organisations.

If you would like to donate to our very worthy charities, please use the donation link on the right hand side of this page. You can rest assured that 100% of your donation will go to the charities. We are funding the costs of the rally ourselves and to assist we are seeking corporate sponsorship. For more information on sponsorship please visit our sponsorship page.
